Regardless of whether the shipment is ultimately signed for, destroyed, or returned, the duties and other fees billed by UPS and related to customs shall be the ultimate responsibility of the shipper. Therefore, please inform the consignee that they must promptly follow up and be aware of paying the relevant fees upon the arrival of the shipment locally. If the fees are returned to the shipper’s account due to non-payment, the fees incurred will be borne by your company, and there will be no advance notice.
